Hi everyone! My name is Penelope. I’m a 6 month old lab mix, who hasn’t had the best starts, but looking for my happily ever after! I had some bad luck and was hit by a car and left on the side of the road, until some nice person picked me up and took me to the hospital. There, I had to have surgery on my broken knee. They were afraid I might lose my leg at first, but luckily I’m recovering nicely!
I’m now living with a great foster family while I heal and am looking for my furrever home. My foster mom says I’m truly is the best pup she has ever met (and she knows plenty). She loves how I am super loving and friendly I am. I get along well with other dogs, children and love to cuddle with my foster family while we watch tv. I also love my crate and have no problems, sleeping over night in it.
I currently weigh 34 lbs, but am super skinny from being on the streets, so I’m probably going to be a pretty big girl (lab size) when I’m full grown. If you would like more information on me, please don’t hesitate to ask! I can’t wait to meet you!
